Short Biography
Dr. Dibyendu Biswas earned his both DVM and MS in Obstetrics degree in Veterinary Science from the Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh. Dr. Biswas started his job as a Veterinary Surgeon at Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University in 2003.
He obtained Ph.D. in Embryology from Chungbuk National University, South Korea in 2011. His research work is mainly focused on the porcine model embryo production through IVF, SCNT, and PA with VEGF. In 2011, he shifted to Patuakhali Science and Technology University as an Assistant Professor. He also completed as a Post. Doc research in the same institute (2017–2018). He has published over 50 peer-reviewed research articles on the national and international level (h-index: 14). He was a reviewer of the reputed journal “Theriogenology”. Recently he got a membership in a very prestigious organization, Bangladesh College of Veterinary Surgeons in August 2022. Dr. Biswas is an expert on disease model animal production through Somatic Cell Nuclear Transfer and semen analysis and an expert on large and small animal surgery. He is a life member of BVA, KIB, Coastal Vet Society, and Founder Member of the National Young Academy of Bangladesh (NYAB). He is married and has one daughter.
