Short Biography

Professor Hasnat did his PhD from Kumamoto, Japan and MSc from DU, Bangladesh. He is an Associate member RSC (Ex AMRSC), associate Fellow, Bangladesh Academy of Sciences. He is Life member of Electrochemical Society (India) (LM368):  and Bangladesh Chemical Society (LM2148).

His research interest is in Fuel cell catalysts, Drug analysis, Nitrate/Nitrite electroreduction, Application of junction electrodes, Low conductive technique for electrolysis, Sensors, Arsenic mitigation, Catalytic dye degradation, CO2 reduction, Electro-kinetics of various reactions. He got TWAS (Atta-ur Rahman) Prize in Chemistry 2013, Buenos Aires, Argentina, October 01, 2013. Also he obtained Bangladesh Academy of Sciences Gold Medal Award in Physical Sciences (Junior group),2011. He is a fellow od Analytical Chemistry Trust of Bath University, UK, recipient of  Monbukagakushu Scholarship, MEXT, Japan, in 2006, United group research award: 2013 (1 paper), 2014 (4 papers) and Vice Chancellor Award in 2016
