Short Biography

I am an interdisciplinary researcher with experience in clothing and textile sciences, materials science, and biomedical engineering. My research aims to improve traditional textile processing including pretreatment, dyeing, printing, and finishing. I try to introduce environmental friendliness in textile processing by replacing toxic chemicals with natural ones.

Medical textile and biocomposite are two other areas my research has been focusing on. Electrospinning is one of the techniques I use for research on medical textiles. PVA, keratin, and chitosan are a few biomaterials I am working on preparing novel biocompatible scaffolds for tissue engineering for biomedical applications.
